Fundraising & Committee
Northleach Playgroup is a registered charity and so is dependent not only on its staff, but upon its voluntary management committee for its daily running. The committee is mainly made up of parents whose children attend the playgroup.
Committee meetings take place every 6 weeks throughout the year and are a great way to be involved in your child’s time at the playgroup. Anyone is welcome to attend. Dates of meetings will be displayed on the notice board in the lobby. The AGM is held at the end of the school year in July. The key committee members are:
Chairperson: Andrew Warner
Vice Chair: Vacant
Secretary: Krupa Patel-Harmen
Treasurer: Matt Dewe
School Liaison: Vacant
General Members:
Sara Deacon
Joanne Gardiner
Maddi Tyler
Fundraising
Northleach Playgroup receives no external funding. Fees only cover the day-to-day running costs of the playgroup and therefore fundraising is vital. We run a few fundraising events each year to help renew and update our equipment. Parental support is essential to make these a success. We are very grateful to all the parents and carers who help with these events to benefit our playgroup and welcome any help or ideas. If you have any particular skills or access to resources then please do let us know how you can help.
